I am currently running a pair of 4 blade 28p on my 32 advantage openbow, I have a pair of 496hos and bravo X drives, my tach looks like its pushing 5 grand, I am not as concerned with the hole shot anymore since I no longer use the boat to pull skiers or tubes, I am currious about trying out a pair of 30's what should I expect? Top speed is currently 75 on GPS.

If you get a good pair of labbed 30's, I am guessing 77-78

Ooops!
I didn't realize this was in the BBlades section when I posted that. I don't want to step in front of Brett. He has way more knowledge on this than me. It was just that, I have been testing props around that size on the Gun and this is what I have seen.

HELL YA! Well I ot ah'
Hey, anytime you want to chime in, please do. Hell, we've spent enough time working together and I know your knowledge level is way there!
First, if you are at 5000 rpm now, you will need to Lab the propeller to get to the range these engines need to run in. Also, we would want to add a small amount of rake to the propellers to carry the bow a little better since the hull has a open bow and running 5100 is great for these engines. The Labbing will put you in the 4900 area and the rake will decrease the wetted surface area drag and pull another 100-150.
Speed gains.............0-8..........seriously.
