First I have to say thanks to Dr. Jeff [smilie=kissass.gif] for rushing me my order. Even though I ended up not needing right away, do to bad timing on my part.

I'd also like to thank Kim for donating product for us to give away at our poker run. [smilie=bow.gif]

Now for my problem. In my haste I forgot to order a wax applicator when I ordered the wax. I'll be waxing the boat Friday afternoon so there is no time to have them sent without spending a fortune on shipping. So I ask what alternatives I have. Can I get a similar applicator localy and what exactly do I need. I have access to a high speed buffer and foam pads, but I think I'll do this by hand. I experimented a little bit and it seems to work just fine when applied by hand.

[smilie=050.gif] Any help would be great, thanks.

The applicators that I have from Frenzy are nothing more than a soft foam applicator. They're nice because they fit right in the palm of your hand, but I can't see why any soft applicator wouldn't work. The other nice thing about the ones from frenzy is that as they get saturated with wax, you can do more and more waxing without having to keep stopping and adding wax to it.

Any foam applicator will do. The reason we recommend foam is so that the wax will glide on smoothly. If you don't have foam, you can use a terry applicator; just takes a little more product.

I picked up some foam pads at wal mart. The wax worked great, I'm sold! I even had one guy ask me if I painted my boat.

Next time I will use the buffer. I think the buffer will do a better job of cleaning.

Glad you're happy with it. Really, you shouldn't have to buff if you keep the boat clean between waxes. [smilie=050.gif] Try our Wash & Wax. It's like a booster shot for your wax job and is an excellent cleaner (even for water spot removal).
