I think I'd be up for it early, have to go to dinner with my grandparents later. Eddie, do you know what time you're planning on? I could still possibly be at your house from the night before

Nauti Nan-Sea here . . . Thanks Ed for letting me know about this forum.
Regis & I will be working the Cottonwood Marina / OmahaRiverFront.com booth at the boat show so I hope everyone will stop by & say Hi! I haven't been down to the center yet but as far as I can tell, we will be right in the center of things across from the food court.
A little news for everyone -
Rhubarb will be returning to Cottonwood this year. Everyone else is gone. It's looking like I may be doing alot more up there myself this summer so if anyone has ideas they would like for me to pass on, feel free.
2 major events I will for sure be putting on is first, the Poker Run. It is scheduled for June 19th this year. The 2nd one is still be developed but will be called the 'Corps of Discovery Boat Celebration' & will be held Sat evening, July 24th at Cottonwood. I am looking for participants who would be interested in decorating their boats for a boat parade using lighting effects or anything else their imagination can drum up. The event will take place the week before the Lewis & Clark Signature event happens at Ft. Calhoun so there should be alot of spectators.
Details for both of these events will be posted at OmahaRiverFront.com
Hope to see everyone at the Boat Show!

Hi Nan-Sea, welcome to the site. I think Karen and I are going to try and get to the show some time. We will stop by and see you guys. I'd love to decorate my boat but it is a long drive up from the Ozarks by river.

Hey Nauti Nan-Sea, glad to have you here. I have been working with my friend that runs WakeboardNebraska.com, and we were discussing hosting a combined wakeboardnebraska, midwestboatparty, get together on the river. Possible events would include a wakeboard competition or possibly a pro demo. I told him cottonwood may be the place to hold this, let me know if this is something you may be able to help us out with.
PM or email me.
Thanks
DJ
OK Nan-sea when you say everyone do you mean Mac????????????? How about Pete and Lindy, dont they live there???????? Who is calling the shots? (I assume it is still Mac)

Anyone else not impressed with the boay show? I thought they were better and bigger when at the Civic Center. We loved the new Qwest Center but I wasn't at all impressed with the boat show.

Not sure what else you wanted to see Kevin, I was impressed with the Qwest center and was glad we went. We use to skip the Omaha show. I'll go again next year.

It just didn't seem as big and as many boats as in the past years. There were a lot of pontoons and fishing boats but not a lot else.
