Does anyone by chance have the lat/long gps coordinates for Big Thunder's marina on the Gravois arm? I'm going to be mooring my boat there in August and I'd like to plot it on my gps before I go. I'd also like to have the coordinates so I can find it on a lake map to see where it lies in comparison to where we are staying since most likely I'll be getting a ride to the marina by water every day to pick up my boat.

Also if anyone knows of a website that has good online maps for the lake of the ozarks which show mile markers, I'd appreciate a link.

Thanks,
Baja252

Here's a map - click the first link, hover your mouse over the pic and then in the bottom right corner you will see an icon to enlarge it.

There will be others that reply as to the exact coordinates of the BTM on the water, but it is actually in Laurie at the 7.5mm

Your getting warmer......what you have a pic of is Millstone Lodge and Marina whis is about a 1/2 mile east of our location...I'm working on the exact coordinates for you to BTM. Where is your place your staying at ? We also have a location with dockage about 1.5 miles from the infamous party cove...its a great location that is close to all the hot spots. GIve me a buzz on the land line if you want more info and if I get the GPS coordinates to both places I will post them here..

See ya soon

Hey thanks! If you can get those coordinates that would be great!!!! Here's a satellite photo off terraserver which I have editted to show the cabin we are staying in. If you can give me an idea of where Big Thunder is (by water) from here....that would be great!

This is about the 8 mm by the way...

baja252..

you are "right around the corner"...I looked us up on terraservee and came up with this...type in our address 32697 green hills rd, Gravois Mills, MO 65037.

magnify the sat photo as much as you can we are at these coordinates (by their count, not GPS. Lat 38.20386 Long. -92.783747.

Basically if you come out of the cove your in , take a right and follow the long cove due west of you until it "Y's" and we are on that point.....

hope this helps, hell I'm even lost now!!!!

Is that the location back in the same area as Bass Point?

Or, am I completely off the mark?

Wildcat,

Not sure where Bass Point is, but we are in SOuth Buck Creek cove, behind the twin islands and dircecly across from 7mm and the Toad Cove area.

The location that I am at is under the Glaize Bridge about 1.5 miles on the left hand side....

Gotta be the place, I just never realized it was a Gravois address...Our place is in the same cove, but it's a Sunrise Beach address...I thought, if anything, that location would be a Laurie address..

Lots of nice boats and nice people over there...and there's nothing like hearing some twin 454's opening up exhaust across the cove at full song at daybreak...

At least now they know that ONE person in the cove appreciates it!

I verified that it is the north location that is in the same cove as us...spent a little time checking things out while on the waverunner....

NOW, if I can just come up with the coin to get the water toy of my own that I want!
