View Full Version : Help with Bachelor Party on June 5!
I am organizing a bachelor party for a friend of mine, on a houseboat the weekend of June 5th. We are trying to pull off a houseboat afterhours party in the party cove on friday and close to shooters on Saturday? Has anyone ever witnessed a successful party like this?
Here are some of the things we have planned:
1. Tons of dj equipment including, lights, fog machine, bubble machine, and possibly foam machine.
2. 1000 test tube shots
3. Enough beer that we may sink the boat
4. Flyers made up for the events.
5. Possibly KY Wrestling. (If old school did it, why cant we?)
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Off the top of my head...
Sober shuttle driver.
Rain contingency plan.
Twister (the girls like it)
Priscillas has some party games/dice/cards
Have a small safe for valuables
A case of Redi Whip
A couple bottles of that carmel stuff that goes on ice cream (it’s really good and the Wal-Mart in Osage Beach has it)
Case of different flavor Puckers (girls like it)
Burn a variety of CD’s ahead of time

Nick I would not recommend the Ky Wrestling. Last year we tied up to a House boat that had Baby oil in a small pool and had girls wrestling in it. For one it was nasty after and for two we had the catch about two or three people who almost went over the side because it was so slick. If we would not have caught them they would have been in some pain.

I've hosted a couple of these kind of party's before and here is a couple of things I learned!!
Scratch the Foam, bubbles, anything slick!! The top of the housboat will be plenty slick enough with the spilt beer and tanning lotion!!!!! In fact be very careful, many in our party fell numerous times!!
We had about 15 people on two housboats and went threw 6 kegs, and it wasn't a three day weekend!!
I rented a stereo from the Rent-a-Canter in Camdenton for $36.00 for a week and paid an extra $2.00 for insurance. Man was it worth it!! I think one speaker was blown before we got to the COVE!! It still sounded good enough to party with though!! I told them it was for a barn party in Laurie, MO. and they were like COOL! See ya Monday!! I rented the stereo because I didn't want anyones personal DJ equipment damaged by water balloons, beer, rain, dew, etc. (all of whice happened to the rented stereo)
Beads, Beads, Beads!!!! You have got to find a place here on the NET to buy a Case or two of beads!!! I found a place in New Orleans to shipp them to me. Hurry it usually takes a while to get them!! (These are very important!!! overnight them if nessessary!!!)
Buy a megaphone!! They are about $100.00 and worth every penny!!! That way you can ask the nice ladies with large boobs to show them to you!!! You will be amazed how well this works!! even woth everyone yelling at them, you with a megaphone can get their attention!!!
Make a couple of cool signs, might include a hot body contest planned fro about 3 or 4pm saturday afternoon. Include a $100.00 cash payout!! You will be amazed by how many woman will flock to you boat about 2:45pm!!!
Sober person to incharge, just incase something happens!! Have another boat there for running errans, like going for ice, beer, trip to hospital. This is not the boat the guys ride around all day in looking at boobs!! It needs to be at the houseboat for emergency situations!!
That will get things started!!

Thanks funhome. We already have a sound system that rivals that of a KISS concert. That includes a couple wireless mics, lighting, fog machine, bubble machine and some other crap. A place I know rents them out.
I have plenty of beads....I think. Do you think 50 dozen is enough?
We have about 26 guys going. I have figured 55 cases of beer, plus I have a budget of about 1000 bucks for hard alcohol including shots. I have also alotted one can of whip cream per person.
Its going to be a tight fit, and I already plan on sleeping in my own frigging boat!

My guess is with as strong as my shots are, most people wont even see noon. So that leaves more for the rest of us!

I thought the same thing MrsM! 2 cans Redi Whip per person per day should work.
Also, 50 dozen might a good/high number for tossing out, but girls REALLY want the big beads and unique beads, and will do anything to get them.

Its not often that a bash of this magnitude is planned by so many different individules, that said, I am about announce the biggest thing that I can think of that hasn't been mentioned. This is so importain that I thought maybe I should LEAK it in another thread, So all wouldn't over look it.

I think I ordered 1 case of 144 Dozens!!! I have a couple I kept just to remember it by!! Butt Cheese, is right you might try and buy a couple of the real big x-mas decoration looking beads....Girls go CRAZY over them!!! I call them Muff beads!!
The reason I went with Keg Beer was that the cups we gave out to anyone that swam up were kinda small, but everyone in our group had a large insulated cup! I would have prefered canned beer but I knew we would give away several cases!!
The only other alcohol we had was Boon's Farm (PC Gatorade) If I would have had anything else, the guys would have been passed out by NOON!!!
Oh yea, when you buy food stick to stuff like Cold Cut's, micro Barrito's, etc. (Stuff they can make them selves very quickly)!!!
When is this Chin-dig?? I'd like to watch from a far.......(I'm sure that is all my wife would let me!!!) :mrgreen:

Well, I am leaving tomorrow to begin the bachelor party festivities at the lake. We are going to have a party on our houseboat Friday night in the party cove. And then again on Saturday across from shooters. Come on by if you want. Bring women!!! :lol:
We will be enjoying plenty of shots like red headed sluts, jamaican lake water, kamakazis, and some kind of shot Wally said made people want to play naked twister. Along with a 2 story beer bong!
That being said, Im worn out from planning this thing for the last 5 months and I am thrilled its finally here. Come join us for a blast!
