Thank you Dr. Jeff! I am excited and happy to be part of MWBP!

I know some of you already and look forward to getting to know more of you.

It will be fun working together to dial in and improve performance on our favorite past time and our obsession, our boats!

No question is too big, to small or too repetative. Let's see what we can acomplish. [smilie=042.gif]

I am currently running 25 Mirages on my 92 Fountain. No steps. Turn around 5000 when drives are way up. What is everyones experience or opinion on swapping to 4 blades, say 24's or should I rework the 25's? The tend to slip when coming up on plane. Otherwise, the boat runs well and will hold plane at some pretty los speeds with a little massaging. Top speed varies from 70 - 72. I also have the original earlier Mirages from Fountain that have their magic added to them, gut they would always slip in turns.

I posted this last week and one of the members suggested that I send this to you for your expert advice

Stock 26P Bravos. One is "scuffed" or roughed up on the tip of all 4 blades. Don't remember hitting anything, but must have. Not ready to lab the props yet, as I still have to do a few things to the engines/exhaust that influence the lab work. May be a year before that happens.

1. What damage will running the prop in it's current condition cause?
2. If it needs to be fixed now, can it be smoothed down (resulting in slightly smaller diameter) or should it have extra SS welded back on to keep the original diameter? The other drive's prop is still fine and is also stock.

thanks.
