Along the lines of the Mixed Drink thread. Just curious what everyone's choice of adult beverage is for a day of boating.

Beer if I'm in my boat - gotta get home at some point.

Vodka RedBull if I'm whoring a ride with someone else - you can pour me out onto the dock and I don't have to worry about getting us there.

I'm with DJ, if I'm the captain I'll stick to Coors Light and I know where I'm at with my silver bullets. But when we park for the night and the dock party starts this is a favorite drink of ours. Easy to make its 1 to 1 Pinnaple juice and Malibu coconut rum (in the white bottle) serve it cold or on the rocks or make a slush with ice. We call it "Suntan Oil". Its an Ozark tradition with our group. [smilie=657.gif]

If I'm driving I'll only drink beer. But of course I only drink the best beer known to man, Michelob Golden Draft Light. It's a local beer and luckily for us a great one. Plus is has a ribbed(for both our pleasure) can so its easy to find in the cooler. [smilie=1062.gif]

If i'm not driving then it's Captain Coke unless I run out of coke and then it's root beer, Dr. pepper, orange juice...seriouls I don't have a problem....

cold beer for me during the day, but if we're going balls to the wall red bull /vodka. The wife seems to have developed a taste for mandarin vodka and diet sprite

I usually start out before noon with a couple beers, then after lunch I will drink a couple of beers. Sometime in the late afternoon I will switch to three or four beers. Just before sunset, I like to have some more beer. Any questions? Not a beer drinker. Wife likes Mic - Amber Bock

Usually bring along some Mike's Hard :shock: Lemonade or Doc Ottis. I've become quite fond of Woodies Blueberry as well.

Wife likes to bring along Bacardi Hurricanes or Bahama Mamas premixed in a bottle. Plan a long day for those two though. [smilie=126.gif]

Im so hooked on coars light and the party cove that in the middle of winter if i pop a coars light open its gives me a feeling as if im right back at the cove.

The wif and I are big Bloody Mary drinkers on land. The easiest and best tasting Bloody Marys are made with Inferno Vodka. If you like Bloody Marys I highly recommend you try some.

We also like margaretas on the rock!

RayJ, lay off the crown and coke, its affecting your vision. If you look closely at your beer can I think you'll find its called Coors Light.

Tequiza or Dos Equis Green for beer. The best is a blender full of frozen margaritas. My brother gave us a 12v blender for Christmas a couple of years ago. It works great! It's a Waring. Way heavier duty than the one I have at home and has a cord that would stretch across the entire boat. [smilie=071.gif]

I like Captain and diet 7up. Try it you'll like it. I think it's even better than Captain and diet coke which was one of my favorites.
Of course early in the day it's Busch Lite, gotta have some Busch most every day.

If your a tight azz you can can buy an power inverter and a cheap blender a wally world for an on board daqueri machine. Much cheaper than the 12 volt blender, I know the 12 volts are very good durable units.

Our summer favorite has been SMURF PISS

It's the blue vodka w/lemonade

We empty water bottles, fill 'em up the night before and freeze 'em.
Start with Mickeys and by the time were ready to switch the SMURF PISS isn't all ice! It's a fool proof safeguard not to get into the sauce too hard too early and those blue concoctions are sneaky strong!

Otherwise it's SoComfort on the rocks for me, if I'm not driving, or whatever you've got for me, with alcolhol were not pickey!

I always have something sweet on board that I'll drink a glass of to every 2 or 3 beers. We call it 'Shave My Box' or 'Naked Juice.'

It is equal parts: cranberry, lemonade, captain morgan, and apple pucker.

Rasberry Vodka mixed with lemonade or Limeade. Very good refreshing drink and it keeps you hydrated throughout the day. Only two ingredients and easy to carry on the boat. And yes beer (bud light). [smilie=1062.gif]

Well i dont drink beer at all.....most time while boating i'm downing either water or some sort of soda. But when we are down in the cove i mix up a batch of Hawaian Pirates.....the women love em! When on the gauntlet all passing women MUST take a shot to get to the other side! Most end up staying for a while! :D last time i was down we got a game a naked twister on the back deck of my old Scarab! :D :D

Heres the recipe:
Vodka
Peach Schnaps
Rasberry Schnaps
Malibu (clear)
Orange Juice
Pineapple
splash 7-Up
splash Grenadine

Use good ingredients cause you will taste the difference!!! 1st 4 get equall amounts.....the OJ and Pineapple you do double and add just enough 7-up or sprite for a small fizz and grenandine for a little punch color. When i mix this i usually use a BIG cooking pot and use plastic cups for measuring....... :D Hope you all enjoy!
