Sarah and I will be on a houseboat for a Cruise/Brunch this Sunday. The Highlight will be the Bloody Mary contest that we would love to win
Awhile back someone posted a very good Bloody mary Recipe made with Clamato Juice. I think it may have been Doubleblended. Does anyone have that recipe or any other good one's??
Thanks for your help!

I do not drink them but I have a recepie from my bartending days that is damn good

goes in a pint glass, half filled with cube ice

Jigger of GOOD vodka (grey goose, belv, absolut, stoli, finlandia etc)
balance with V8 or Spicy V8
big dash of worcestershire (tsp plus)
splash of olive juice (tsp or so)
spalsh of Frank's Red Hot sauce (tsp or more  )
dash of celery salt
dash if garlic pepper

Garnish with REAL beef jerky (preferably home made, no flavored, just good old fashined Beef jerky)

Now thems goooooooooooooooooood eats

juice from ONE fresh lemon (very important ingredient)
worcestershire sauce (usually 3-4 shakes)
celery salt (enough to coat the bottom of the glass)
GARLIC tabasco sauce (usually a couple shakes)
VODKA (plenty of it)
your favorite bloody mary mix (*I use Cape Cod Bloody Mary Mix)
splash of beer
good ice (not the stuff from your refrigerator)

** If you use just standard BB mix that is more like a tomato juice, then I add in some horseradish to kick it up. The stuff I use has that already in the mixture.

The key is to then take the mixture and mix it good. I usually take another empty glass and pour back and forth between glasses about 4 times to make sure all the ingredients are mixed right.

YUMMY stuff.

Classic Canadian Caesar (American Bloody)

Rub the rim with lime; celery salt the rim, stick the lime on the side of glass

Clamato & good vodka as your base, strength up to you
couple drops worcestershire
celery salt
pepper
tabasco to taste
stick of celery

You can use Angostura (spelling) instead of worcestershire if you like more of a lemony taste or add a couple drop of lemon jiuce. (wife likes it that way)

I have seen people put everything in a Caesar, but nothing beats the classic.

I think mine is pretty good and so do all my buddies. I came up with it myself.

Pour over ice
1 part Vodka-I usually use Sky
4 parts Mr. and Mrs. T's Bold and Spicy Bloody Mary Mix
A couple of shakes of fine ground black pepper
1 spicy dill pickle
A big splash of the spicy dill pickle juice
Stir and enjoy

Try this recipe with olive's and pickles and their juice. Clamato is the best for Bloody Mary's

A lot of people use Worcestershire in their Bloody Mary's

Last night, I tasted one that had A1 steak sauce in it. It was good, I would definatly recommend trying it.
