Does anybody Know how to remove this style control????

Actually, Mine are the older ones, but basically the same, I just stole that pic from somewhere

Hard to see the type of control, but nothing that a good Sawzall can't fix.

Actually, I beleive this is thru bolted to the side. Remove the thru bolts and you can gain access to the back side of the controller. There will be several screws to remove from the back and you can then remove the cable.

Or ask the Torch Master (AMER3) on how he removed his. [smilie=071.gif]

if you look on the bottom of the shifter there will be a hole with allen set screw in there. Removethat 1st. This will allow the shifter to move out of the way look behind the plate and you will see the thru bolts! :shock:

I looked real quick last month when replacing throttle cable, but couldnt find anything, so I did it blind, by feel, laying on my back, hands up behind the panel :roll: :roll:

Now I want to remove it, to replace my interior, and I need it off to replace the panel it is mounted to. If you say it is definitely there, I will find it [smilie=071.gif] Then remove the thru bolts, and I believe it separates, with the panel being the meat in the sandwich, am I right???
